‘Three': New Web Series Explores Friendship and Polyamory through Comedy
New scripted comedy web series Three plays out the tried and true unlikely love triangle, but with a twist. Straight Layla is outrageous, her best friend Tanner is gay tends to be on the anxious side, and they both have their eye set on the attractive and easygoing (and bisexual) Jason. Before they know it the three of them are all in a polyamorous relationship and exploring the balance of friendship and sexuality.
The series is created by and stars Lucas Omar, a Tampa filmmaker. His work has been screened in film festivals around the world. Most recently, his short White won first place at the Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival and the script for Three was a finalist in the BlueCat Screenwriting Competition.
The serie, which explores LGBT themes about sexual openness, also stars Amber Sym and Bravo’s Below Deck star Andrew Sturby.
