2015 Call for Submissions for Brooklyn Web Fest and Content Creators Conference
The call for entries for the 2015 BKWF opened July 7 at www.BrooklynWebFest.com. Series created after January 1, 2014 are eligible to apply.
2015 is Brooklyn Web Fest’s inaugural year and screenings will take place Oct 9th and 10th at the Made in NY Media Center by IFP in DUMBO. A series of panels will be presented as part of the 2015 Content Creators Conference and will cover subjects including fundraising, production, distribution, marketing, promotion, monetization and more.
The goal is to highlight the best narrative storytelling the web has to offer and bring together internet innovators and industry influencers to share knowledge and forge professional relationships through a series of panels, educational workshops and networking events.
The festival is presented in part by The New Hollywood, a 501c3 non-profit committed to supporting women, LGBT and minority voices in entertainment. TNH will present a special Emerging Voices Award to outstanding content showcasing underrepresented voices tackling issues of gender, sexual orientation or race. In programming, BKWF strives provide our community with innovative, inspiring, and culturally diverse content.
Submissions are open to all creators worldwide.
