Seattle Web Series Festival Opens 2016 Submissions
Seattle Webfest is in the Early Bird phase of accepting submissions to its 2016 festival.
The first Seattle Web Fest was held in March at Northwest Film Forum on Capitol Hill. The event featured 45 shows, 32 panelists and 12 awards. Visitors came from all over the United States and Canada and shows came in from four continents. The event was free to the public—funded by a Kickstarter campaign, with the majority of backers choosing the “Submit Your Series” reward tier—and included a closed gala for filmmakers, jurors, and donors.
The discounted, Early Bird phase will continue until September 30th, with submission costing only $40. Regular submission costs $60 and will occur in October and November. There will be an additional opportunity for late submission in December, costing $80.
The festival will be held in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood on March 12, 2016.
