‘Classic Alice' Announces Halloween "Dracula" Arc
Halloween is on its way, and literary web series Classic Alice is following up last year's popular Macbeth arc with another spooky story! This October, main character Alice (played by series creator/writer/star Kate Hackett) is tackling Bram Stoker's classic horror novel Dracula, the source of so much popular vampire lore. In each book arc, Alice makes life decisions according to the actions of characters in classic novels - but this time, she isn't emulating the hero. In a twist on her usual format, Alice is taking on Dracula himself as she strives to reach new levels in her writing career. How far will she go to get what she wants? The first episode of the Dracula arc, "The Bridal of Death," is now live on Classic Alice's YouTube channel (you can also watch below), and new episodes premiere each Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. PDT.
The Classic Alice team is also thrilled to announce that they are partnering with The Horizon Factory on an app that brings together the show's video episodes with transmedia, podcasts, behind-the-scenes content, and more to provide fans with a unified, cohesive mobile and tablet experience. "Every single thing that's ever happened on the show or around the show, absolutely everything we have will be on this app," Kate Hackett told The Daily Dot. "You can start from the very beginning, you can trace your way through the entire story." The Classic Alice app is scheduled to launch later this year - just in time for holiday shopping!
