‘Easy Abby' Guns for Season Two with Innovative Campaign

The most-watched lesbian web series, with 30 million views for Season One, is coming back for Season Two! Easy Abby, written and directed by Wendy Jo Carlton, is announcing a crowdfunding campaign for a show that has been called "a gay girl's Nurse Jackie". Shooting in Chicago and Los Angeles, the Easy Abby cast includes Guinevere Turner (The L Word, Chasing Amy), Billy Aaron Brown (Chicago PD, 8 Simple Rules), Dalila Ali Rajah (New Girl, Young and the Restless), and Lia D. Mortenson (Nightmare on Elm Street).

The Indiegogo campaign hopes to make it's goal by October 5, 2015. Perks for contributors include vibrators, gear from TomboyX clothing, and the chance for a walk on role. In an era where portrayals of queer love, female friendships and emotional breakdowns are not explored much onscreen, Easy Abby deftly pours all of those elements into an entertaining comedy cocktail. Season Two finds Abby in modern day peril. She has no problem finding the next woman to sleep with but that's the only thing that comes easy. We will start to see Abby expand her idea of what love is.
